My niece recently taught me how to use Twitter. I like to keep up with all the latest news, sports, TV reviews and opinions, and Twitter lets me do all this from one handy place.
However, recently I’ve noticed that videos uploaded by people that I’m following start playing automatically on my timeline when I scroll to them. According to my son, this is a default setting that’s come with the latest Twitter update, but thankfully you can turn it off.

Click your profile display icon at the top right, then Settings at the bottom. Now scroll to the bottom, untick ‘Videos autoplay’ in the Video Tweets section, then click the ‘Save changes’ button (see screenshot above). You’ll need to enter your password to confirm your identity
