Convert Microsoft account into a local user account (Windows 8.1)

If you are not using Cloud services of Windows, then you can change the Microsoft account into a normal user account. Press [Windows]+[i] at the same time. Then click on ''Change PC settings”. Go to ''Accounts” in the left display. Now select ''Separate” on the right under your account name. To confirm this, you must enter your latest Microsoft password and confirm by clicking on ''Next”.

You can convert a Microsoft account into a local

account via ''Settings

Now enter a new name and a new password and click on ''Next”. You can subsequently ''Log out and Exit”
