Find Out IMEI Number of Your Lost Android Phone

Hi friends, today I will show you how to track / find IMEI number of a lost android phone. We all know what is IMEI number ? Its nothing but an Uniquie 15 digit magnetic digital code which come inbuilt with every mobile phones. Now if your phone get lossed somehow then you can track the exact phone location with its IMEI number. As we said each and every mobile phones comes with IMEI number,but today we gonna talk only about Andorid IMEI number, because this guide is only for Android device & not for Java/symbian/windows/iOS phone.

Tracking or finding a lost android mobile through internet is possible & there are lots of guide to follow with, but tacking is only possible when you have the IMEI number of the lost phone. Now to obtain IMEI number we usually dial *#06# from our phone dialpad. But above procedure not gonna work in this case, because you don’t have the phone with you. This is where importance of this guide came, just follow this guide to find IMEI Number.

Finding IMEI Number from Google Server:

First of all give pressure on your brain & try to remember have you ever accessed your GMAIL account or Playstore on your Android mobile phone? If no then probably this process not gonna work for you still give a try. But if yes then congo you can find IMEI number of your lost android phone.

In this guide we will try to find IMEI number from the Google Server. You may or you might like to know that how your IMEI number get stored on google server. So here it is > whenever you open Gmail account or open playstore on an Android phone all your phone data automatically get synced & stored in Google server.

Follow the Steps Below :

1. First of all open Google dashboard.

2. Now remember which email ID you have used to access Gmail account  previously, entered that account ID & password to sign in Google dashboard.

3. Now scroll down until you see the Android logo as shown in below pic.

4. Now click on that Android Logo & it will show all the synced Android device with that Gmail ID. (In my case it is 4)

5. Now find your lost device from that list & copy the IMEI number. (check the marked portion in bellow pic)

So that’s it, you have found the IMEI number of your lost android phone. Now its time to track your phone. I am not going to guide you how to track lost android phone, because this is little tricky. But some usefully tips : Goto google & search how to track lost android phone with IMEI number & check all the post in First 3 pages of google, also try this tracking tool I heard somewhere that its usefull but you need to pay for it.
